YEAH! I’ve moved into a way better place!
It’s got so much space to do things in, the rent isn’t bad, and I have the coolest roommates ever!
Come visit my new pad when you have the chance!
My new address is at dinodotcom.com
It’s still needs a little bit of work, but everything will be updated there from now on!
Things I learned today: Webspace is awesome! (and so much fun!)

November?NOVEMBER!?
No update in 3 weeks! Jeez Dino, you had better step up your game if you want this thing to work. Especially when Orange Ark and DinoDotCom.com is just around the corner. (Right, Fearn? Right!?)
The main thing I’ve been doing the past two or so weeks has been school. Shit’s been hitting the fan and it’s time to put on the serious face. (Why I never decide to put the serious face on until mid-semester always boggles me.) However, it’s extremely hard to do due to the fact that Fable II and competitive Smash Bros. have been doing an excellent job of grabbing my attention for monster periods at a time. Hopefully with Fable II beaten, I can increase the amount of seriousface-per-day I do.
In a related topic, back in the summer I started the Stronglifts 5×5 program and adhered to it very well. Unfortunately when I went to California, it destroyed my routine and the new semester followed thus putting the final nails in the coffin. Looking back, that was the first time I stuck to a plan long enough to see changes and improvements. I mean, by late August, I could squat 185 lbs. like it was nothing. It also help me jog with less pain. With that said, I’m going to be starting that routine once again, but this time logging a weekly analysis on this blog. The fact that you guys can see my progress will be an added kick in motivation as well. :]
And of course, I can’t finish this without showing everyone my Jack-o-lanterns. I think I did pretty well this year. :] Pumpkin Etching > Pumpkin Carving.

Things I Learned Today: MicroSD cards are disgustingly (yet at the same time pleasantly) cheap these days. The 4 gig card I bought for my new phone only cost me $15. :] Sorry Faye, the lovely one you got me for my birthday many moons ago just got retired. :[ It severed me well in it’s 2+ years of action.

Sorry for the inactiveness. But there’s a reason! Huzzah! Sometime this month, I, along with 4 other good friends will be buying webspace for our own joint site! I’m really exited about the move and can’t wait for Orange Ark to be up and running!
I’m going to be paying a little extra in order to obtain my own domain, and with the held of a friend, I’ve already come up with a domain name :] Look forward to it!
In gaming news, I’ve just joined the VGSS, a video game society located at UofT. So far, they’ve only held a boring racing event though :[ Because the commute without a car is quite lengthy, I’ll probably only be dropping by for SSBB and Halo/COD4 tourneys. (Which is the main reason why I joined in the first place!)
Sorry for the lack of visuals, by the way. My new camera decided to crap out on me and is in for repairs right now. I should be getting it back soon.
Things I learned today: The Hori Fighting Stick EX2 is a Arcade-style joystick for the Xbox360 with a very promising build and feel. Even though my Arcade-mirco isn’t what it used to be (read: sucks now) I’m most definitely going to buy one for myself when Street Fighter IV comes out on console! Tiger Uppercut!

I’ve been reading a lot of manga on my spare time. Amongst them all, Akumetsu is probably my favourite.

Everything is always detailed to the smallest crack and I love the bold, strong lineart.

And the facial expressions are just so amazing. How well faces are executed is always an underlying factor as to whether or not I would keep reading a series.
The art is so great. Things like this make me want to start drawing again.
Things I learned today: At the end of Metal Gear 3, Big Boss is awarded with the Distinguished Service Cross, which is the second highest military decoration one can obtain. The only reason he wasn’t awarded the Medal of Honor was the fact that it requires statements from seven witnesses, while the DSC only needs three. Unfortunately for Big Boss, he only had three that would, or were alive to testify: Major Zero, Para-Medic, and Sigint.

After Friday’s classes we headed to Austin’s friend’s apartment to play a few games of Brawl. Chris and Q were pretty cool guys and both were proficient with lots of different characters. It was an awesome change in difficulty from the usual amounts of Snake vs. Lucas battles I usually play when Dan comes by to play. (Sorry Dan, ha ha.)
I’m actually a lot better than I thought I would be. My spotdodging and use of grabs have both improved a lot and both of which have drastically altered Snake’s play style. Guard dropping grenades has also become second nature to me now. Unlike before, it has become habit and I no longer fumble or lob with nades as I throw them. Not only is it lot easier to control, it opens the doors to many other advanced Grenade-based techniques. :]
Things I learned today: The enemy grenade drop glitch allows you to forcefully make your enemy drop a grenade that s/he has picked up from anywhere on the map.

Today I managed to beat a level 4 CPU on Tetris DS for the first time. :]
And then I did it again.

level 4 owned
Pretty darn good for a guy who couldn’t beat level 2’s two weeks ago, if I do say so myself.
Also, my awesome Wii-to-VGA cable from vdigi.com came in the mail today.

We’re gonna test it out in the computer labs at school tomorrow. This means I can train and play brawl with a wide array of awesome people during downtime on campus, rather than easy level 9 CPUs and the random time with a friend comes over. :]
Things I learned today: I like working with the HTML version rather than the visual when posting a new entry. I have way more control and freedom this way.

Procrastination hit rather early this year. It’s only been 2.5 weeks into a new semester and I’ve already started/finished an assignment the day before it was due. The mere fact that it was worth 4% of my final grade and so trivial that took our group about 45 minutes to complete is no saving grace either. This year is off to a pretty bad start… ha ha.
However, the semester is still young. And you can bet before we’re through, Dino, I’ll make a man out of you! (HOOOAH!)
On another note, Tetris DS is fun again. I managed to consistently beat a level 3 CPU, which is a big jump for me. :]
Things I learned today: T-spinning is the act of twisting a ‘T’ tetromino into a tight space that it wouldn’t normally be able to get into. There are different variations of T-spins that can be used in a wide array of situations.

My in-ear headphones died a couple months ago, and ever since I’ve been on the lookout for a new, relatively inexpensive pair. Well I found these bad boys on Deal Extreme. They’re exactly the same as the original iPod ones, except for the fact that compared to the official ones, they’re a shit load cheaper!
Looks like my new found e-shopping way of life isn’t as bad as I thought it would be, huh? :]

Welcome to WordPress.com. This is your first post. Edit or delete it and start blogging!
…So I guess WordPress wanted to start the first entry for me.
Not that I’m complaining, I’m usually horrible at starting things anyway. :]
